Sustainability

I firmly believe that the future of our Planet also depends on us and that anyone should contribute to preserving nature 🍃

Languages are my superpower and I decided to use my translation and communication skills to help save the Earth 🌎 I translate some interesting articles about the environment, websites for sustainable brands, NGOs, ecotourism, etc.

I only work with clients who share these values: my job is part of my life and it affects the environment as anything else. Everything is interconnected and it’s important to do our best to protect Nature!

Sustainability should be our major concern: we only have one Planet and we need to protect it! Some of my favorite clients are:

  • sustainable and ethical fashion brands,
  • apps against food waste,
  • NGOs fighting climate change and deforestation,
  • travel agencies promoting ecotourism,
  • organizations defending animal rights,

and in general, companies that have sustainability as one of their core values.

I am passionate about gardening, permaculture, straw-bale building, forest gardens, aquaponics, natural building techniques, ecovillages, and every form of sustainable, renewable energy. I support many environmental organizations and sustainable brands.

One of my clients is Bowlpros, an e-commerce selling sustainable, ethical products such as coconut bowls, bamboo cups, vegan food, and more.

Here you can see an extract of an article I translated about ecology:

In 2011, the UK produced nearly 11m tonnes of packaging waste. Yet companies still sell packaged, pre-peeled bananas.

Food waste campaigner Tristram Stuart, says supermarkets have cottoned onto the ‘ethical consumer’. “The food and packaging industry has undergone a strategic rebranding campaign [and now] argues that you can reduce food waste by how it’s packaged. So you get pots of cubed-up mango instead of an actual mango. (…) It’s a distraction from the real issue which is turning nature into cash to satisfy unnecessary consumer desires.”

Following is a sample of a product description I translated for a Sustainable Fashion brand that produces reusable period underwear:
